How do I order my lab tests?
You can order your lab services online. Once you’ve pre-paid, using a credit card or PayPal, you can print out the requisition form after the last step in the ordering process.

How and when do I pay for my lab tests?
You pay when you order your blood tests. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit card payment and PayPal.

What if I forget my PASSWORD?
You can use the LOST PASSWORD link in the login section. Click it, then enter your email address as you did in the email below. The system will send your password to you.

Are the test results accurate?
Yes. All lab tests offered by stdconfidential are performed by an certified clinical pathology laboratory.

Are the results confidential?
Yes. We will always maintain strict confidentiality regarding your lab results and any personal information you provide.

Can I get a refund for tests ordered but not taken?
There is no refund policy. However, tests can be rescheduled for a later date within six months.

Where are the lab tests performed?
All specimens are analyzed at Medical Diagnosis UK LTD reference laboratory or cooperating accredited reference laboratories with the same state-of-the-art technology.

How do I find the nearest collection centre?

Yes. You book your appointment online.


Questions About Preparing for Your Lab Test

Do I need to follow any special instructions for my lab test?
If any special instructions are required you will be informed in the communication accompanying your requisition. This information can also be found by clicking on “Info”. If any special instructions are required, this will be listed in the Patient Instructions section.For blood tests it is advisable to wear sleeves that will roll up easily, while urine tests require you to provide a urine specimen.

Should I continue to take my medication before getting my test?
Yes. You should always take medicine that has been prescribed by a physician.

Should I fast before visiting a lab to have my blood tested?
For most blood tests a fasting sample is advisable. This does not apply to blood tests for STDs.


Questions About Lab Test Results

When will I get my test results?
Test results are usually available online within 2-3 business days, often within the time quoted when you order your tests.

Will I be able to understand the test results?
Normal values for most parameters tested are provided.

What if I receive an abnormal value?
Abnormalities should be considered an early warning, but do not necessarily mean you have an illness or disease. We strongly recommend you discuss the results with your doctor for evaluation, further testing and diagnosis.

Can my doctor see my results directly?
No. While you can review your results online, we have restricted the online access to you personally; however, you have the opportunity to print a report that you can share with your doctor provided, of course, you have given us your name.
